Project Description

This Hausmannian apartment with mouldings, marble fireplaces and oak parquet flooring has been renovated and reinterpreted as a contemporary flat with existing classical touches. To open up the space the distribution of the rooms has been redesigned to make the kitchen, previously in a blind room, a place to live towards the living room and the terraces that surrounds the rooms. The old kitchen, central on plan, was redesigned as a comfortable bathroom. From the entrance you find an angular, full-height wooden cabinet that guides you from the entrance to the living room and kitchen. Here a monolithic concrete kitchen island invites conviviality. The bright wood, rough concrete and black linear details give this classic flat a clean and minimalist touch.
